Saturday, November 16, 2013
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Ward Building - Gym

It's time to get your craft hats on & get ready for the holidays!  We are having some fun classes to help you learn new skills & get a jump on your holiday gift giving.

If you missed the sign up sheets, look for them on Sunday.  We will have the sign up sheets in Relief Society, Young Women & Primary.  The class samples will be displayed in the Relief Society room on Sunday if you would like a closer look.  We will stay a few minutes after the meeting block so those from Primary & Young Women can see the samples.  If you can't make it on Sunday to sign up, leave a comment listing the classes you would like to do.

Class fees need to be turned in by Wednesday, November 13th and should be paid to the class teacher.

We will have several classes starting at 9:00.  If you are taking the bread class, you will start there & then rotate through any other 9:00 classes you have signed up for.

BYOC - Free
Bring Your Own Craft
9:00 - 2:00

You don't have to sign up for a class to have fun on Super Saturday! We will have tables set up for you to bring your own crafts to work on.  So if you have a closet full of unfinished projects that you can never find the time or motivation to finish...pull one out & bring it on Saturday.  Whether it's crocheting, knitting, scrap booking, painting, hand sewing, machine sewing, beading or simply getting a jump start on your Christmas cards; come work on it with us.

Bread Demonstration - Free
Jolynn Clegg
9:00 - 11:00

Jolynn will be going over the basics of making bread & rolls from a well tested recipe that she will share.  The best part is that we will get to smell & taste her teaching materials!  This class will start at 9:00 so that we can have some bread & rolls to eat with our lunch....yum!

Santa Wreath - $8.00 ea.
Danyelle Payne
9:00 - 11:00

Danyelle will be showing us a simple & fun way to make this cute wreath.  Whether you keep it for yourself or gift it, you will be able to use this technique to make several different style wreaths during the year to decorate your front door.

Family Memories Jar - $5.00 each
Laura Nance
(or a volunteer with mad mod-podge skills!)
9:00 - 11:00

These jars are designed to help you remember all the things you're grateful for during the year.  Or maybe you have trouble remembering all the little moments that bring you joy.  With one of these jars on your counter, you can easily write down that joyful or grateful moment, date it & put it in the jar.  Then at the end of the year, you can read through them & be reminded of all those moments.  When signing up, choose which label you would like.

Baking Mix Jars - $5.00 each
Kate Bates
9:00 - 11:00

These cute jars are the perfect gift.  You can choose from either a brownie mix or a cookie mix.  Kate will help you put everything together in perfect layers of love as you prepare these gifts for neighbors, teachers or friends.

Quiet Puzzles - $5.00 for a set of 4 puzzles
Laura Nance
9:00 - 11:00

These puzzle sticks are the perfect item for your Sunday bag.  Once you learn this simple technique, you can continue to add to your puzzle collection with additional church images or with family pictures.

11:30 - 12:15

Not feeling the crafty vibe this year?  Come join us for lunch, visit for awhile & check out our crafting progress.

Growth Chart - $12.00 each
Rozlynn Peterson
12:30 - 2:00

Rozlynn will be teaching you how to make this darling wooden growth chart to help you keep track of the growth in your family.  Unlike a door frame, you can take this with you to your next house! Bring your painting shirt & gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty!

Pillow Cases - Free
Laura Nance
12:30 - 2:00

Learn how to make these cute pillow cases to spruce up any bedroom, wrap a present or start a new Christmas Eve tradition.  This simple & fast technique only requires three seams.  If you can sew a straight line, you can make this project.  You will need to bring your own fabric & thread to match for this project.

Fabric Requirements:
- 3/4 yard for the body of the pillow case
- 1/4 yard for the cuff
- 1/8 yard for the piping strip

We hope you will join us for a fun day of crafts, learning & friendship.
